Vermont’s Mandatory Flood Disclosure – Information, Updates, and Q&A

All property sellers in Vermont are now required to disclose flood information to buyers. A Vermont Mandatory Flood Disclosure form has been created to help sellers comply with the new legislation, 27 V.S.A. § 380. This class will help real estate agents understand who needs to complete this disclosure, how to find the necessary information, seller protection against incorrect or out of date public information, and the potential ramifications if this disclosure is not provided to buyers.
