Realtors® to Host Consumer Safety Day Through
Vermont on July 31

Join local realtors throughout the state on July 31 for a chance to learn how to improve your family’s health and safety. Realtors, in partnership with local businesses and SecurShred, will host Consumer Safety Day in multiple locations throughout the state.

Mobile document shredding services will be available at each event to help consumers safely dispose of sensitive documents. Experts will also be on hand to discuss fire safety, radon awareness, home inspections, pest control, child car seat safety, identity theft and resources for crime-proofing a home (check each event for specifics).

“Realtors care about their communities and understand the importance of consumer safety,” said Kathy Sweeten, chief executive officer of the Vermont Association of Realtors. “Our Consumer Safety Day events will help families in the communities we serve get the resources they need to keep their family safe.”
